REPLACEMENT OF THE FACTORY-INSTALLED STORAGE DRIVE, INCLUDING INSTALLATION OF THE ORIGINAL OEM OPERATING SYSTEM ON THE NEW DRIVE

This service covers the replacement of the factory-installed storage drive in a new personal computer or notebook and the installation of the device’s original OEM operating system on the replacement drive. It is intended for customers who want the original factory storage drive to be replaced before delivery while retaining the operating system originally supplied with the device.

What is included

• Removal of the factory-installed storage drive from a new personal computer or notebook
• Installation of a customer-selected replacement storage drive
• Installation of the original OEM operating system supplied with the device on the replacement drive, in accordance with applicable licensing terms

This service allows the device to be delivered with the replacement drive already installed and prepared for use with the original operating system environment.

Important notes

• The replacement storage drive is supplied separately and is not included in the service fee
• The service applies to new personal computers and notebooks only
• The service does not include installation on servers or storage systems
• The service includes installation of the device’s original OEM operating system only
• Any additional software, customer image installation, or data migration is not included in this service unless agreed separately
